The new Monash Children’s Hospital

In April 2017 the first patients were moved into the new Monash Children’s Hospital.

Building on a 120-year history from the Queen Victoria Hospital, the Monash Children’s Hospital service is one of Australia’s busiest, seeing over 140,000 children last year.

The new 230-bed hospital features five dedicated operating theatres, 96 in-patient acute beds and the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the state.

The new Monash Children’s Hospital is a welcoming, caring environment where parents can sleep alongside their ill child in comfort.  A place where children feel reassured, where they can stay connected to their family and friends.

Your continued support of the Monash Children’s Hospital will ensure it stays at the forefront of treatment, research and care.
